Type: Urban Land
Scale: 1 Acre
Completion: Summer 2025
An existing client requested our services for a project involving the expansion of space for their livestock. They approached us to clear overgrowth on a one-acre area to achieve this goal.
Conclusion: Following the clearing of the area, the substantial amount of vegetation removed resulted in a significant accumulation of biomass on the ground. This biomass could impede the subsequent seeding process by preventing seeds from penetrating the soil surface for new grass growth. To address this issue, we employed a root rake to mechanically gather and stockpile the mulch produced during the forestry mulching process.
Clearing and grubbing are processes employed to eliminate vegetation and trees both above ground and slightly below the surface. This results in a clean area, suitable for future site preparations, such as planting wildlife grasses for livestock grazing.
