This project commenced in 2024 with the forestry mulching of all invasive species, including honeysuckle, autumn olive, grapevines, and multiflora rose. The undertaking presented challenges due to the rugged terrain and steep hills of southeastern Indiana. After completion and a year of observation, the invasive species began to re-emerge. Consequently, to manage this regrowth, herbicide was applied using backpack sprayers.
Conculsion
The whole 127 of regrowth were treated , to achieve the control of the invasive species

Forestry Mulching and Herbicide applacation are methods used to remove vegetation and trees above the ground and just below the surface. This leaves a clean area for future site preparations such as farming, developments, etc...
